Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

This is a large cradle that is great for rocking a baby. However, if your baby is not being rocked it is kind of unstable for sleeping. There is a pin that is supposed to keep it from rocking but it is still very unstable with it in there. Also the pad that cam with it is very thin and poorly made so you would want to get your own pad. It is also very hard to move even though it has wheels.

This cradle was so easy to put together and looks great. I haven't used it yet, but feels fairly sturdy and best thing is that I can wheel it around the house to any room my husband and I are in to watch the baby close to us. Luckily we have wood flooring and tile to wheel it around easily. We can't wait to use it when our newborn arrives. Great piece of furniture for the money.

The product looked as pictured. What I didn't like was that it was a bit on the flimsy side. When assembled together, its not as sturdy as I would like it to be. Overall, the quality of the product was very good. I just hoped the design would be more sturdy.

The cradle is a beautiful piece of furniture. It is well crafted and arrived in perfect condition. My daughter-in-law was thrilled to receive it at her shower and all the guest remarked how lovely it was. One soon to be Grandma even asked where she could get one for her grandbaby. The cradle matches beautifully with the pink and espresso nursery but also looks nice in the master bedroom were it will be used initially.
I was very satisfied with the merchandise as well as the prompt shipment and could not be happier with my selection. Thank you
