We bought this dresser for our nursery. I had some concerns over the dresser after going back and reading some reviews, but it was too late to cancel our order. I'm glad we didn't.
The dresser is beautiful and fairly sturdy once it is all put together (at first the particle board slats appear flimsy, but they reinforce once the whole thing comes together). There are some wood pieces, but as mentioned, also a lot of particle board.
Assembly: My husband and I had fun putting it together and all pieces arrived in the box.
Drawers: The drawers are pretty shallow. You won't be able to store baby powder and the like in any of them. We're using the dresser to store onesies and little outfits (sorted by 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, etc.) However, once our son arrives and begins wearing bulkier clothes (jackets, overalls, etc.) we might pass this on to another family and purchase his "big boy furniture."
Durability: We have a few more months before baby is due and using it on a daily basis. I will definitely post updates if it falls apart all of the sudden ;)
Overall: Great looking dresser for the price, easy to assemble, All Children's Furniture is a great vendor and we've used them a lot for our nursery purchases.

This is a beautiful, functional piece, with large drawers. It was easy to put together. The color is a vibrant cherry. This dresser is well worth the price. I have no negative comments to make, I highly recommend it. This is a well made piece of furniture, which I am sure will be in the family for years. You can't go wrong with this one. This is my first time purchasing from Storkcraft and I won't hesitate to buy from them in the future. I read reviews from all the brands and this one was the best.

I purchased this dresser for my own use (not in a nursery) since I liked the color in the image. I was happily surprised to find that it is an even darker and richer cherry color than pictured. the drawers are shallow but wide enough for adult use, and the drawer glides are smooth and sturdy. But I have to say I was really disappointed with the amount of difficult assembly involved; many of the dowels and screws didn't really fit well so I left a lot of the hardware out. But as long as this product is not getting overly used, it should prove to be a great purchase for anyone.
